Since July 1st 2014, it has been a legal requirement that all products used in construction be 'CE Marked'. This also applies to Steel and Aluminium Products. All steel or aluminium products purchased from Denmay Steel that are to be used in construction will be supplied CE Marked up to Execution Class 2. With your order you will receive a Certificate of CE Marking and a Declaration of Performance, these two documents can be used to prove that the steelwork carries a valid CE mark.

It is important to use a supplier that is CE compliant, as it is a criminal offence to install Structural Steelwork that is not CE compliant. It is possible that trading standards could force the removal of non conforming products from a building or structure, even if the project has been completed.
